HTC Radar Review


HTC RADAR The HTC Radar is a smartphone that runs on a Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) operating system having 1 GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor. The Radar has 3.80-inch Super LCD screen having a WVGA resolution of 480*800 pixels which gives you crystal clean images. The phone is having 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. There is also 0.3 megapixel secondary camera on the front side of the phone. HD videos can be recorded at a maximum resolution of 1280*720 pixels (30 fps). The phone is also supported with Geo-tagging feature. The cost of the phone is Rs 15,799.

DESIGN- The phone has a sturdy design. Along the button of the phone the phone has three back, home and search buttons which is used to navigate the interface of your phone. The phone has a 5 megapixel camera and speaker at the back along with flash. The Window phone has an accelerometer, proximity sensor and a gyroscope sensor. STORAGE AND BATTERY- The phone is powered by Li-Ion 1520 mAh battery that gives you a long talk time and battery life. The Radar has an internal memory of 8 GB.
CONNECTIVITY AND FEATURES- The phone has GPRS, EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi facility that allows you to connect to  the internet. The phone also have Bluetooth and  a micro USB port through which you can connect and share files with other devices. The  phone also has Push mail and Email with document viewer and Document editor that lets you to get in touch with your friends and professional environment. The phone have social networking sites like Facebook and Instant Messenger that lets you to keep in touch with your friends. The Radar also supports AGPS that gives you directions and guides you path to every place you want to go.

HTC Explorer Review


The HTC Explorer is a touch screen phone having Android v 2.3 Gingerbread operating system through which you can download applications from the Android market. The phone also have 600 MHz Scorpion processor with 512 MB RAM, supports Adreno 200 GPU that lets you 3D gaming experience. The HTC Explorer have 3.2 inch display screen with a resolution of 320*480 pixels. The HTC Explorer has HTC Sense UI through which you can access the applications directly from the home screen. The Android phone has 3 megapixel camera. The phone has video recording facility that helps to capture videos and play htem in MP4, H.263, WMV formats. The phone also has other features which includes GEO tagging and face detection. The cost of the phone is Rs 8599.

DESIGN- The HTC Explorer has capacitive touch screen alongwith four touch buttons. The volume rocker is on the right side. The lock, unlock and the power button on the top alongwith 3.5 mm audio jack. There is a data sinking micro USB port on the left of the phone. The camera is at the back of the phone which has a plastic body with rubber texture and metallic plate. The explorer also supports sensors such as accelerometer for autorotate and proximity sensor.
BATTERY AND STORAGE- The phone has an internal memory of 90 MB that can be expandable  up to 32 GB through micro SD, micro SDHC cards.
CONNECTIVITY AND FEATURES- The HTC Explorer has the facility of GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and 3G to access the web. The phone is also having Bluetooth and micro USB port that allows you to transfer videos, music and images with other devices. The phone has music player and FM radio. The music player supports MP3, eAAC+, WAV format. The HTC Explorer has A-GPS facility which helps you in providing direction to the desired locations.
CONCLUSION- The HTC Explorer is an Andriod smartphone having reasonable price. The phone has the following good and bad points-
Good-

  • Excellent UI.
  • Fast processor, RAM.
  • Good screen resolution.
  • Great browsing experience.
Bad-
  • Low internal memory.
  • Average battery backup.
  • Camera quality is not so good.
